Coronavirus (COVID-19) Information for Providers

UCare is committed to protecting our members and the community from the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19). The COVID-19 situation is changing quickly, and we are monitoring changes closely.

To assist our provider partners in navigating this fluid situation, UCare has developed several pages sorted by topic to address common questions. We will continue to update these pages with additional information as it becomes available, so please check back regularly. Each page will show at the top the date that it was last updated and a bulleted list of changes made within the last two weeks. Additionally, this landing page will show the changes made in the last two weeks, if applicable.

All information contained on this page is applicable only during the declared pandemic time period or other time frames specified below. In the event of any conflict or inconsistency between the information contained on this page and the contents of the UCare Provider Manual, the information on this page shall control during the identified time frame.

Please Note: UCare removed copays for Medicare primary care and mental health clinic services - including telehealth June 1 through Dec. 31, 2020. Effective Jan. 1, 2021, UCare is reinstating cost share for UCare Medicare plans that have copays for these services.

Please contact the Provider Assistance Center at 612-676-3300 or 1-888-531-1493 with any other questions.
