Breast milk is the best food for your baby. It’s made especially for your baby, and it’s easier for infants to digest than formula. Breast milk also doesn’t need to be mixed or heated. Breastfeeding for even a short time can help keep your baby from getting infections, illnesses and allergies.

Breast pumps

After your baby is born, if you return to work or if you have to be away from your baby and would like a breast pump, UCare can provide you with one. We offer eligible UCare members one breast pump per pregnancy. A doctor's order is required.

To order a breast pump, call the UCare Customer Service phone number listed on the back of your member ID card or talk to your doctor about where to find a durable medical supply agency.
